No. I Only met him a few years previously. We found ourselves at odds about how to run the scraps left of our government and military.

Oh, hardly! [She laughs, though.] No, the Admiral and I were anything but good at working together at first. We learned to respect each other, however, and eventually, became friends.

Being in charge of saving the last of humanity does make you old, however.

Being in charge of anything makes you old, the way I figure it.

Oh, I don't plan on doing it. There are kings and queens here, and I'm sure that means they outrank me.
